I love all of your work dudebro!
I love all of your work dudebro!
Thanks man. Glad to know that. :)
Awesome sauce. The tats should be affected by the light and shadows too. Other than that cool bro.
Thanks, they are, but I decided to keep the white lines unaffected because I wanted the subject to enjoy them individually. :) (like added bonus)
That's purday :) Ever read a book called, "Flower Fairies of the Garden"? It reminds me of the illustrations in that book. This would look prime in water color - you know light and feathery.
Never read that book. I wonder if I could check those illustrations you're talking about just to see. btw Thank your for your review
look like you had fun too. I like the piece. Ever see the work of Mobieus? This doesn't look like his persay, but it has a slight feel of it.
Of course, Mœbius is one of my biggest influences, and up there among my favourite artists!
Cool, looks like an animation cell
yup i''m just trying to figure out how i want the animation to look. I'm not really good at fine art
Beautiful... It's obvious that you love eyes and noses. You need to love everything else, then people will fall in love with your women. ;)
Indeed, friend lol. Thanks for the support!
I went back to look at all of your posted work and the I noticed that every new post is better than the last. You may not think so but I'm not talking about subject matter I'm taking about your draftsmanship. The line work in this latest one is friggin beautiful.
Some of it reminds me of Afro-Samuri. Keep up the good work mutha%$#@@!!! LOL
This stuff would look good animated. Not all cleaned up but with all of the line quality you naturally have. Look at the old "Jungle Book" cartoon for a good example. In that film they just transferred the animators' drawing to the cells and so it looked more dynamic and just plain AWESOME.
LOL !!! KInd words man thank you !!! I tend to feel that im never improving but i guess i am ever so slowly ^.^ these things take time you know . Again i appreciate it man than k you
On the real. This is good. Hummm, I have a degree in traditional Illustration and part of becoming good is tracing over Old Masters' work to learn how they did what they did. Nothing is worn with that. Passing it off as your own yeah, that is bad.
One of my favorite artists is Patrick Nagel. He was a graphic designer turned painter. Nagel studied Japanese woodblock forms and applied that to his paintings. He was always trying to simplify the human form.
The only way to get good at that is by studying the human form. Even if you are illustrating a stylized version of something real it's imperative that you study from life. That will give your work that X-Factor.
You can't BS art.
Keep on keeping' on man!
It's a bit too flat in the face. Your color styling is very good. It looks like an animation cell. You just need to look in a mirror for reference. Apply the same technique and you'll be untouchable.
yeah i shoulda made another shadow for the other side of the face . i'm terrible with shading
Very nice. I approve of this :)
Thanks! :}
